This is the third case I've ordered. Two have been for flags flown over or in Iraq and I just received one for the funeral flag of my father - a WWII Navy Vet. Every one has been perfect! You can't ask for better quality and workmanship.

I was in a pinch. I needed a flag case and I needed it fast. The Colonel I work for and I went searching on the internet and we found “Flag Cases by Walls.” We thought the pictures displayed were better than most, and the prices were good. But when you buy from the internet, you always take a risk. We reviewed customer comments and saw one that said – “good product, but it takes some time to receive.” So I called Russell Walls directly (CEO of the company). He asked – “when do you need it?” I said, “In two weeks.” He said, “I’ll make sure you have it.” Well, he made it happen, and we were all extremely happy with the product! I’m sure he can’t do that all the time, but it certainly shows commitment.
I’ve been in the Air Force for 22 years, and have seen many retirement ceremonies and tributes, but I have never seen a flag case presented to anyone as finely crafted and unique as the one produced by “Walls.” Their flag case was absolutely top-notch – the woodwork was phenomenal. Our recipient was brought to tears… I would recommend their products to anybody who wants to give a proper send-off to someone moving on. Hopefully Russell will attach the picture to this comment.
Very Happy Customer

It's funny how you won't ship your products to APO, but you can send models
and business cards here for people to advertise so you can get Soldiers to
buy your products.
----------------------------------------
Mr. Mike, Soldier?
In reference to your email this morning.
I do not ship APO/www.usps.com because they used to damage way to many of my products.. I do have a contract with FedEx now and offer free shipping along with that.. I'm sorry FedEx does not ship to APO's... but Business cards have been in the Middle East since 2002 "My last deployment" Operation Enduring Freedom. and I have since given tons of business cards to former co-workers from my Previous Unit (183rd Fighter Wing) who have re-deployed to Iraq twice and also Bahrain/UAE in support of both OEF and OIF.
Business cards do not get broken nor damaged from shipments? The Case I shipped to (SFC Kevin Morris, 316 ESC, G1 SMD) was a Thank You to he and his unit! an arrangement via email for "Soldier of the Quarter" for one of his men/women to receive at the time of his discretion. I took a chance on shipping this display USPS to APO out of Kindness for his and possibly your support in OIF. I am sorry if it (this display) bothered you so much to write me this nice email, Please any further emails have the decency to use a real email account and sign it!
Son,
I Thank God everyday that I am able to build something that other people can enjoy, and I can keep my costs down to my customers for them to be able to enjoy something like this without the arm & leg additional mark ups out there. I was Medically Retired out after 18 1/2 yrs of service Without ANY Service Connected Disability. from which I am still fighting for my rights and many other Veterans Rights (please take the time to review my "Veterans Links and other links attached to my website) In the meantime I will explain the rest about me that I do not advertise or whine to my customers about.
1990 Desert Shield/Desert Storm/ Called Up, My Unit did not deploy, Volunteered as Stand By. The War was over before it started and I never left American Soil.
1996 Operation Southern Watch/Deployed, Al-Jaber AB Kuwait.
1997 Operation Southern Watch/ Re-Deployed, Al-Jaber AB Kuwait.
1999 Operation Southern Watch/ Re-Deployed, PSAB AB Saudi Arabia.
2002 Operation Southern Watch/ OEF/ Re-Deployed, Al-Jaber AB Kuwait
My Son Right now is serving in the Army in Northern Iraq, and Yes he had deployed with a handful of my business cards as well. He just completed Boot camp last May and went into AIT out of Ft. Knox KY. when he got completed with that he went onto his PDS and deployed with them December 3rd 2007. He spent his 1st year (Enlistment) Anniversary already 3 months in Iraq.
I am Very Proud of my Son as I am All America's Son's and Daughter's... This is another reason I do what I do! Because I Can and Will.
I think your complaint lies with USPS? My Contract with FedEx and shipping costs to my customers is way less. and I do not have to deal with very much if any damages.
I have no problem shipping to you APO, if you would like to cover the shipping charges and the possibility/risk of Damaged products? the Display I think you might have seen. would run you about $20-25 each/per unit shipping cost. FedEx most anywhere in America is half that cost.
Thank You For Your Service to Our Nation!

Mr. Walls - I just want to let you know that the case you made for my nephew
is beautiful. I wish I could see his face when he gets it but unfortunately
I am mailing it out to him. I am not sure if I told you this or not but a
flag was flown at the Nations Capital on the day our nephew was presented
his Eagle Scout Badge. The case we ordered was to showcase that flag, the
certificate and his Eagle Scout Badge - the flag and certificate are in it
and I know he will put his badge in as soon as the case gets to him. This
is something that he will treasure for ever - thank you for the beautiful
job you did on the case.

Mr. Walls, Thank you so much for helping us out with the quick turnaround
on the 2 flag cases and 2 certificate frames that we ordered recently. The
craftmanship was excellent and the shipping was very fast. Your products
showed off the flag and accompanying certificate beautifully. It may a very
impressive gift and memento for 2 members of my staff, who recently retired.
Each person had 35 plus years of loyal service to the Department of Defense. We were able to comemmorate that service beautifully with your
help.

Hello, Mr and Mrs. Walls:
At last I am sending you photos of my flag holder.
Fall 2007 ushered in many
family birthdays and holidays when we strongly felt the absence of my father, and January 13 marked one year since his death. Having placed his flag in the case I had been concerned about dust I took an extended break from my project and have only recently started again to go through boxes and search for a suitable frame for Dad's military photo.
But now I am pleased with the
juxtaposition of the frame and the flag case, and am looking possibly for a smaller frame to showcase a photo of Dad near a plane working with an aerial camera. It would replace the candle you see in the photos.
I hope at least one of them will be suitable for inclusion on your website.
Thank you again for all your help.
Sincerely,
Tonya Gaylord

CWFoster's Ship Flag.. I was honored to see this picture and contacted CW about making him a Flag Case to hold the flag he had gotten from a drawing his captian had for all crew members at the beginning of Iraqi Freedom..
I didn't know the flag was 17' x 9' and it took a very large case to house it..
But it turned out very nice and again it was an honor to build a case to house this flag.
Thank You for the Pictures CW..

CWFoster ET1(SW) USN:
he pleasure was ALL mine Russ! You made a beautiful showcase for what has to be the best momento of my entire career! For those who can't see the pic that well, the flag in the case is flying at the masthead in the foreground of a Tomahawk warshot fired into Iraq from the Red Sea on the Monday following the opening of hostilities. It was the first of a salvo of 8 cruise missles we launched. USS Deyo DD-989 launched a total of 26 missles in three strike missions in the Red Sea and Persian Gulf in March and April of 2003. Thanks again for the gorgeous work Russ!
